For the safety of our pilots and aircrews; members of 8 Wing CFB Trenton; our event volunteers; and for you (and your family);
here is list of items you may not bring to QIAS 2024

No coolers larger than 15L or 16 QT;

No pets and no support animals - other than trained service dogs for the purpose of assisting individuals with a disability;

No tents including pop-up tents;

No large umbrellas, over five-foot diameter; 

No weapons - regardless of permits; no replicas; no items that may be used as a weapon

No laser pointers;

No balloons; 

No kites;

No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, Segway-style transporters inside the air show gates;

No alcoholic beverages - no illicit drugs or intoxicating substances;

No glass bottles or glass containers;

Smoking is forbidden except in designated smoking areas - and no cannabis for the safety of air crews

No barbecues or cooking equipment;

No drones, toy drones, remote control planes or helicopter toys, or toys with transceivers and remote controls; 

No explosives or fireworks or other pyrotechnical apparatus;

... or any items security personnel may deem a security risk or suspicious.

NOTICE:

1) As a condition of being given access to the Quinte International Air Show 2024 and 8 Wing CFB Trenton every person shall on the demand of security at the gates submit to a search of his/her person or property while entering or exiting an exhibit/area. If persons, refused to submit to search, they may be denied entry.

2) All areas of 8 Wing CFB Trenton maybe under surveillance.  This surveillance includes both inside all buildings and all outdoor areas. 

3) There will be no lockers or safe boxes at the QIAS 2024 where prohibited items may be stored by the public prior to entering the site. Public using bus transportations/shuttles to attend the QIAS 2024 should plan accordingly.
